The firm was founded in 1957 by Flannery M. Salter. Over the years, Mr. Salter developed a strong base of quality clientele and added dedicated professionals to his staff.
The firm continued to grow and evolve, undergoing several notable changes:
• 1970: Elmo E. Miller joins the firm and the name is changed to Salter & Miller. • 1971: William McLain joined the firm, and in 1973 the name was changed to Salter, Miller & McLain. • 1978: The name changed to William H. McLain, CPA, P.C. after Mr. Miller passed away. • 1979: Mr. Salter retired. • 1988: The firm name was changed to McLain, Calhoun & Co., P.C. after Michael R. Calhoun became an owner. • 1997: Robin L. McCullough and Tracy C. Clark joined Mr. McLain and Mr. Calhoun as owners. • 2003: The firm name was changed to the present name of McLain, Calhoun, McCullough, Clark & Co., P.C.

Robin L. McCullough, CPA
Robin McCullough is experienced in tax and audit procedures, business consulting for small and new businesses, and estate planning. He graduated summa cum laude from Brewton Parker College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Robin is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Vidalia and serves as the Treasurer and Finance/Audit Chair for the Middle Georgia and Coastal Georgia chapters of the Georgia Restaurant Association.

Tracy Clark offers a wide range of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax and audit procedures. He has developed a concentration in government NFP auditing and accounting. Tracy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of CPAs. He is a member and past president of the Vidalia Lions Club.
